Your Win95 server needs all its resources for other things <vbg>.

Win XP Pro just needs all it's resources to itself.


Win XP OS eats
103 Mb of 1st 128 Mb stick -- total 25 Mb free to applications
30 MB of 2nd 128 Mb stick -- total of 127 Mb free to applications
8 MB of 3rd 128 Mb stick -- total of 247 MB free to applications


I don't to know if I need more sticks of memory or am I stuck with WinXP's appetite for memory. I added the 3rd 128 Mb stick because with just 256 Mb of memory just loading by itself Merriam Wesbster dictionary program the system came up with low memory dialogue box. <vbg>
I haven't even added Office XP to the mix yet.
