Both sides are irrelevant.
The controlling factor is the American Consumer, the major power on this planet, 90% of whom would buy non-Saudi gasoline if given a goddam chance by the treasonous oil company execs and worthless oil-based administration, neither of which have the slightest concern about the well-being of this country.
This would cause the price of oil to crash below $10/bbl, and overthrow the Royal dictatorship.
Forget about the niceties of distinctions between left-wing or right-wing. It's all about existing oil deals.
Follow the money, forget ideology. Those involved since the Nixon administration will literally kill to maintain control, have, and will continue to do so, even if it means the occasional "Texas suicide", or control of America by terrorism. The Holy Grail is how best to screw the American consumer/taxpayer, by the Saudis and American oil interests, combined.
It's easy money. Especially with this administration.
The only way out is beat the drum for an independent to offer non-Saudi oil, impeach the parasites that insist on secrecy in government, and force disclosure of all cover-ups of anti-American business deals. |
