My guess is that Micron is going to turn the spigots wide open and try to put Hynix back into the cage. Then they'll sign the good deal.

This is somewhat consistent with Hynix stopping sales to the spot market, if you assume that Hynix is trying to keep prices high so that Micron will have to pay high.

But I agree that DRAM prices don't look like they're falling yet. On the other hand, they're no longer going up much the last few weeks, and are below the mid January level. (See #reply-16998194 for my weekly SDRAM and DDR price series from DramExchange.)
