Millennium Pharmaceutical is engaged in the commercial application of genetics, genomics and bioinformatics to discover and develop a broad range of novel therapeutic and diagnostic products. For the fiscal year ended 12/31/01, revenues increased 25% to $246.2 million. Net loss applicable to Common before acct. change decreased 22% to $192 million. Results reflect increased revenue from Aventis and Bayer and a lower debt conversion expense.
