I got into a debate on gold on another board a few weeks back. The argument was that gold could not rise in the face of a strong dollar. My argument was that it could if the dollar was strong only in relative terms to other currencies or "the tallest pygmy" or the strongest of the weak. In other times we always had a currency that was strong that the dollar could show weakness to. We don't have that here as I can see. Joe
