News Corp has rallied after an initial fall. If it moves against the NASDAQ previous day that is often a leading indicator. But it has been lagging for a while and so maybe has to play catchup. Japan et al. just following the US move. Nikkei also a tech focused index. Hong-Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand etc. are all up. After Japan and then China, HK, and Australia most of the other markets are tiny though (even Korea is small compared to Australia).
