very interesting indeed. i see no reason to short gold with rates so low. the carry trade of leasing gold and selling gold to raise cash at low interest rates has finally ended. the central banks supply 1600-1700 tonnes a year now. they must keep supplying that amount to keep the price from rising. I don't know when the game will be over but I think we are very close to the end. The yr chart of gold looks great.
