Jeff, evolution has be expressed scientifically and is more than adequate. Know there are boneheads among scientists, as well.

The fallacy of their argument is the same fallacy of the creationists. This linear, two-dimensional, cause and effect, beginning to end pattern of thought is a known human bias in our quest to cull order out of chaos. That is to say, nature evolves and its' evolution does not necessarily follow any heirarchal pattern. And Man is simply embedded in that nature.

Also note, your 'after death' reference implies a state of existence. On the contrary, death is an absence in space AND TIME. There is no death...but only life. Note, in order to express it, however, one must imply existence (use of IS variations)...another human bias from which there is no escape.
