Gloop,

It probably didn't change the outcome, but I have never seen an NFL field goal play that ate up seven seconds. Usually it is four or five. I turned to my inlaws who were watching the game with me and said "The Pats still have to kick off". The clock on one replay (or maybe the live shot) showed two seconds left. So you're not the only one who noticed.

Great game though. And of course, as a Michigan fan, to see Brady be the MVP and Ty Law run back a pick for a TD was fun to watch. Brady is the prototype recent Michigan QB...not flashy, just very cautiously talented. He looked on that final drive like he was just practicing the two minute drill in an exhibition game.....just trying to do what he needed to do, not forcing it, not getting his team out of its proper mindset.

It is a mold for Michigan QB's that started with Jim Harbaugh, and at least five Michigan QB's since Harbaugh (in 15 years) have made it to the pros..... not bad for a school that 20 years ago was known only for its running game.
