I'm thinking the English example is pretty credible evidence to support the idea that disarming law abiding citizens will do nothing to lower gun crime.

Faced with that hard fact I would hope we could concentrate on finding a solution that works to lower gun crime as opposed to some feel good, do something response that does nothing but disarm good citizens.
