Revealed in the February Huber-Mills Report , a very highly respected newsletter on "digital power" is that Danaher (DHR) supplies sensors and controls for the Segway. "...the Segway's DC brushless servo motors were supplied by a Danader subsiiary, Pacific Scientific....motor supplies some 40 percent more torque per unit volume than alternative commercial designs..." It goes on to talk about Danaher's control systems that go in the Segway as well. As with the newsletter's last month pick Flir Systems (FLIR), it should pop as the subscribers get the report in the mail over the next few days.
