What can they say? Facts are facts. Their basic business model has been brought into question by the collapse in the sector. Can a company with huge debts/real equity survive as prices for their services continue to plummet?

The stock appears to be ready to bounce. It has reached a trading level set back in the 93-94 time frame and may find some support. That is not to say that WCOM is "worth" this or any price. That will be determined over the next few quarters. Maybe the economic recovery will save them. Or maybe all the discounted competition from companies that have cleared away their debt structure through bankruptcy will crush them. Since there is an argument either way and even Bernie can't seem to figure it out, the best way to play the stock is using the technicals imo.
