I think my brother was the only one who followed through, though I'm not sure. I remember that one of them, from our hometown, met with my brother at the end of basic, and was ready to go kill some "gooks." By the by, within five years or so of my brothers return from his service, he altered his viewpoint from very liberal to solidly right-Libertarian. However, I can't imagine he would ever think he should have done it any differently back in basic. Dan B
