Was not the rule the "by or about" one?
If Poet was talking about you under that rule, you have a right to complain.
Here is the answer to your question:
I have such a rule in place, or SI does, for me and one SI person. And he has frequently posted on issues I have raised and discussed in my posts. I pay no attention whatever. I figure an issue is an issue, as long as it's not about me or too me, and that's the deal we both abide by. I assure you, I don't stalk him because of it, or sue to be able to post to him, or go to where he hangs out to put myself in his face. If he started his own thread, opened his own salon, so to speak, on IHub, I would surely not be repeatedly posting there. I am not fixated on him.
If you want to know who he is, say so and I will PM his name to you and you can confirm this.
If the way in which Poet was following the no-posting-to-or-about rule was intentionally personally provocative or insulting, you had an easy option. Ask her, or ask a friend of hers to ask her, to discontinue the provocation, or even point it out to SI Jeff.
