Was not the rule the "by or about" one?

And I did neither.

What I did was comment to another person on an issue using quotes from one or two of Poet's posts (not attributed, so the identical thing she did over on IH). Neither to or about her and not mentioning her by name.

I realized that if that was going to be prohibited, my life on SI would become circumscribed to an unreasonable degree. Also, I wasn't willing to evaluate every single post I made on the basis of "is this or isn't this going to step over some line Jeff has drawn?"

So I told SI that I thought the stricture Jeff had imposed violated my rights as a paid SI poster.

I challenged them to show me what portion of the published TOU I had violated.

They presumably agreed that my posts, for which I was suspended, didn't violate any TOU and that Jeff was wrong to impose such a limitation on my posting.

BTW, I note that you have not accepted the challenge to accept the same limitation wrt my posting.

Not that I expected to. It's always a lot easier to see the "justice" of imposing limits on others than on oneself.

Exactly what I found, too.

In that, we are alike.
