Ray,
I'm not an adversary, just an observer. Fans of fiction and conspiracy will want to stay tuned to the Boxers and other tale spinners. The truth will most likely take at least a few years to come out and by then most people will have forgotten what it was they were so interested in, all retractions will be printed in small type on page 11 and that will be that. It will sell newspapers and provide soundbites for quite a while.
What I found so interesting was Barbara Boxer's ability to weave all kinds of characters into a dark and twisted web (did you script her?) that had corrupted the entire federal government and laid it all at Bush & Cheney's feet. As noted, the national energy policy has only been proposed, not acted upon, and Bush/Cheney have only been in office as a legal matter since Jan. 20, 2001, and only been in "power" since late spring of the year (recall those pleasant confirmation hearings) and yet had enough time to sell out the American people, negotiate for a plane's return, piss off the effete nations of Europe and craft a response to 9/11.
If only Bill Clinton were still in office, if only Al Gore had won the election, this would never have come to pass.
Silly, really.
As for Greider's article, there were a number of holes in it, but it's always good to get someone to summarize what really went on.
But here at Conspiracy Central, you should keep hard at work, typing away at your Selectric. Barbara is always waiting for fresh pages.
