Sooner or later someone is going to ask the question, after dozens of Enrons are discovered:

And the answer is, simply, they were doing nothing because when SEC officials retire they have a 100% track record of being given cushy high paying jobs at brokerages and banks. This bribe requires that the SEC officials do one thing, and one thing only: DO NOT PROSECUTE THE BIG BOYS.

The SEC is about to get demolished. And it's about fucking time. Those clowns are just as complicit as Ken Lay.

I was shocked but delighted to see Ernest Hollings blasting Pitt on BubbleVision this morning. The guy is the worst kind of scum sucking parasite...the kind that get elevated to power in reward for selling themselves like a 10 buck Bourbon Street hooker. I hope he gets Enroned but good...<NG>
