All: I received and am running today the Sierra 555 on the 1XRTT network (in New Hampshire of all places!). According to a speed test website that I use, the real (working) speed is currently 68 KBPS (w/ a mid bar signal). I replaced a Sprint PCS Sierra device and it is more than just a significant improvement in speed. In fact, I was never able to complete the speed test at this website w/ the Sprint Network because it ran so slow! Also, the setup time (from when I click on "connect" to "connected" is only 5 seconds. I am very impressed.
