Ted,
Here is a hypothetical.

Tyco seems to have a lot of questions about its acquisition accounting and the integrity thereof. Its stock has been halved and it is the daily source for CNBC reports.

If GE, which has made a huge number of acquisitions, starts to have questions about its accounting particularly in the black hole called GE Capital, how will CNBC cover it? Will you cover it at all and should you given your stake in the company?
