I gave WMB the kiss of death today... I bought some. Won't touch WCG. The news reporters seem to be getting confused between WCG and WMB. Articles today were often vague or flat out wrong. This might explain some of the concerns.

On the issue of TYC, did you see anything newsworthy in the "news" of today? I admit they have some accounting issues but the "news" centered on today seemed to me to be a big nothing. They didn't bother to issue individual press releases regarding a large number of acquisitions totalling 8 Billion. Sounds like a lot until you notice they made 45 billion in acquisitions over the same time period. They did make all the proper SEC filings.

There may be skeletons in Tyco's closet but this doesn't look like one of them. Seems to me that some shorters are trying to make a mountain out of a molehill (Namely Herb Greenburg and thestreet.com).
