Yes, I paid a quick visit to my favorite company yesterday. As usual, Helen West was her gracious self and introduced me to the staff. Many changes since my visit 6 months ago. When I arrived, Frank was in the computer room with a gentleman explaining the cyclone setup. Two cyclones operate here tied to sprint and two in Atlanta tied to MCI. If one of those were to back out of contract, etc., there is a backup backbone. Helen took me over to the new building where Mike Peters was busy siphoning gas from a car to get his motorcycle some fuel for a trip to the gas station. Talk about running a company on a shoestring (gg). Actually, Mike gave me a peek inside the cyclone. The dual boards are now spaced farther apart. That change and the larger fan has solved the heat problem. The air coming off the boards was quite cool. Mike is working on a new slim design for the cyclone.
Two packages the shape of cyclones were waiting pick-up by UPS. Everything had been on hold due to year-end inventory.
The accountants are moving from S1 to year-end. The company is looking foward to the end of the quite period. Helen shared that the company does not want to enter another quiet period that would be associated with a NASDAQ filing request at this time, so they will postpone application to NASDAQ for a few months. I ventured a guess next Spring, but she thought that it would not be that long. In talking with Andrew and Allan, I pick up that sales activity is very brisk. Conversations with MCI, and even conversations with companies in the Pacific Rim (Phillipines). There definitly seemed to be an air of excitement among the sales staff.
Raleigh, Frank was impressed with your Atlanta write-up. I made the comment that I didn't understand it all, and he replied that he didn't either (gg). I talked briefly with Sparrow who has been back and forth between Atlanta and here.
About 5 people were hard at work on home pages. One is a new site for Franklin. Don't know exactly when it will be available, but seemed to be well along in development.
Question: Who was that mysterious man that Frank was talking with in the computer room? I believe that he may well have been working on a news article for FTEL. I believe that we will see at least one news release very soon. This is just my opinion. If you have questions, I will try to answer them.
