Huhhh???? Defense aid??? What we spend on defense directly benefits both our own economy and our defense industry as well as our own self-serving interests. Same for any technology we give them for rebuilding. It directly benefits our own economy and people by employment and taxes to the companies that produce it. The aid that the US is disproportionally behind, is aid that the US does not see a direct benefit or has a self-serving interest on. That is why to the rest of the world we look arrogant and greedy. IMHO.
