What they are telling you here is that their fixed cost structure results in margins shrinking dramatically when shipment volume is down. That's not news. That's elementary cost accounting. When volumes recover in late 2002 and in 2003, margins will recover. I still don't see any proof that the secondary markets are taking their toll on Cisco's margins. Boy, John, you are embarrassing yourself with all this misdirection. You couldn't prove that the used equipment market was pressuring Cisco's margins, so now you are looking to distract everyone from your failure to do so. Hmmm. Where's the beef in your secondary market thesis? Evidently, there's a marked lack of "cattle" in your ranch. :)
