This is the only reason the SOX held up today, if not for these upgrades it would have tanked with everything else. Which was the whole idea of the upgrades I'm sure, they had a little inventory to dispose of before they tanked <g>

The SOX actually did not hold up well, it gapped open, had a bearish engulfing reversal right after the open, made the high before 10am and made a new low for the day right before the close, more than TWENTY points lower than the open. Talk about a ramp job, anyone who went long had no way to escape unless they did it immediately after the open.
