Actually that was one of the more concise excerpts of Adi Da's you've posted and I do agree with most of what it says. I just find the phrasing to be awkward and unsatisfying.

Da may be very impressive in person but that simply doesn't come across (to me at least) in his writing. Part of the problem is that I can't take seriously his claims to divinity as they contradict themselves. If everything inheres in the divine then there is no reason to single out the person of Adi Da (or anyone else) for special devotion. On the other hand, if one feels the need to have a focus of devotion then there are many well-established religions to choose from. The world simply doesn't need a new religion and so I see no need for the Way of Adidam.
