Hi maurice,

Your more, more, more scares me. Thirteen of the fifteen major ocean fisheries are in collapse, you saw the piece I put up over the weekend on how California is polluting its waters with more and more watercraft. We Americans sit for millions of hours in traffic jams, developing road rage at ever increasing rates, burning fuel at a rate that makes us permanently dependent on the sorts who blow up our major buildings. Shall I go on? This more attitude sucks. Big time. It's time for us to consider that just possibly we are on the wrong course, that more of everything doesn't make any of us any happier, and that happiness is a vastly better goal than more. More anxiety, more frustration, more alienation, more animosity, more anger, more war.

This "more" culture needs some real serious re-examination.
There's no way that anyone can any longer argue, with a straight face and an honest analysis, that more is equal to better.
