mucho - goodness what a lot of liquid panic. Hang on a minute. This is not the end of the market it is the end of the depression. Yes for many of the big growth engines there was a depression and still is. But the economy although slow to get going is certainly not collapsing.

The last few posts are just a little overdone.

Waverider is right to point out the dangers and there has been real carnage but this is not a total collapse. This qtr was going to be bad becuase we can't see any tangible improvement in the economy so who wants to own stocks.

The big players will jumps all over this sell off picking up the pieces as per usual and shorting everything in sight But the economy IS going to recover, we are NOT all going down the drain and Wall ST will get over Enron.

And how much damage was Enron? $80bn? How much has MSFT dropped or CSCO or even QCOM for that matter.

Even QCOM has dropped more than $80bn.

IMHO what we are witnessing is panic mongering. Sure tghis qtr is going ot be bad OK but for ever? Histroy is against you.

Best,

L
