I remember the send-up the Spike Lee did on the boys on the corner versus the green grocer in his movie "Do the Right Thing". If you haven't seen it, you might consider it, just a confirmation that you are absolutely correct and Spike gets it.

BTW, I thought you lived in California. Am I wrong (uh, just as to geography, else we get too deep.... hehe)?
