I was curious as to the length of time to sexual maturity of the cod (anything to avoid my real responsibilities) - five years seemed ridiculous given that cats can reproduce before one year - but two to four years seems right - but there is another pressure you left out of your model - the North Sea is getting warmer, and cod like cold water.
