mmmary, Auric and all-
I don't know if this has relevance or not to the conspiracy theory, but Fidelity still had my short of GENI priced at $50 per share today. This, of course puts me looking down the gun of a sizable margin call which, in turn, restricts all my trading. Yesterday they said that it was a clerical error on the outside provider of the quotes. Today, I spoke with senior trader Jeff Carmichael (sp?) of the Spartan unit and he told me that the provider told him this AM that there was a specialist on the Pacific exchange who had posted an offer to sell at $50 per share. He stated that because it was a specialist, the provider (he named them, but I forget- too damn mad at this point) had to honor it as the highest outside offer. Fidelity has agreed to override the quote and Jeff said he is trying to track down the specialist. -Might be all hooey on his part, but he sounded sincere.
