No, but I have done my own and I ain't putting those results out either! <g> Though it isn't surprising that the results wouldn't be too great - just a plain breakout - which is what a pattern is - isn't a complete trading system. You have to consider many other things like the trends, the stops, the overall market environment etc. P&F results wouldn't be much different from a straight channel breakout. And channel breakouts whipsaw in non-trending markets. You have to look at a complete system that incorporates the P&F patterns to get a real idea of how those do. So in some ways the study by this student is the first part of a many part study. And why did he go to DWA anyway? Why would they want to publish something that could potentially invalidate their bread and butter service? He should have gone to someone like TAofS&C. -A
