Patr : At about 1 pm the market shut down so the Big Boys can sort out their option plays and still make a "few dollars more"(Clint Eastwood): Does anyone know where those stops are today and what they represent. All I know is that there is one at 50, and one at 100 on the dow and one shuts down computerized trading. Meanwhile this may be entertaining: This morning the Philips plant lost a/c power while 50 fully automated, computer controlled machines were cranking out the well known Philips light bulbs. Since each machine has its individual computer, the beeper that my son Leif carries around sounded off 50 times in sequence saying " hey,person, I got a problem here" what are you going to do about it.?? The answer was simple,which was to call the two people on site and tell them to fix the problem. Welcome to the fully automated world. Sig
