I guess I halfway expected a protectionist backlash by now as more americans lose jobs due to cheaper resources available overseas, so was a little surprised by that slap in the face from him for gm, ford, etc. I sense conflict and teeth gnashing for many approaching as the groups who cannot be mutually satisfied by actions of the treasury/gov't/fed seem to be growing larger and more vocal, with their interests and basic requirements for survival for some growing further apart.
