Not once over the last 2 weeks, since Conrad has taken the podium for the Democrats, has he really demonstarted his plan to help the economy. He has only agreed on the defense plan, because he has to, or he would be termed as a communist; which he might really be. As for Conrad's economic plan, what plan! His leader Daschle just killed today's rally in the markets, as Conrad will surely help kill any stimulus package.
Where was Conrad during the last 2 years when the economy took a turn for the worst? And if he were such an expert on the Enron debacle, how come he never saw the signs years ago?

How the Democrats are comparing Enron to the President's budget is like child abuse. Scaring the majority of the Democrats, those without any financial knowledge into believing the Democratic leaders' lies. But then again, the Democratic leadership have employed these scare tactics for decades. To get votes and to get things done.
