Just get short, or get hedged, or get out of the stock market, and get some hard assets--or even just treasury bills.

Just don't get suckered into thinking the bull market is resuming.

Also: don't smoke, lose weight, exercise, start a garden, cultivate your friends, read Montaigne's "Essays," take enteric aspirin, patronize your local artists, walk at least a mile a day, start a wine cellar, and don't make love to a woman unless she can make good cookies.
