Tom Hanks is baffling....he gives the impression of an intelligent human being, but his politics......???? If you are asking for me to name conservative bright achievers: Robert Dole, Jean Kirkpatrick, Ronald Reagan, Elizabeth Dole, George W. Bush, Laura Bush(great 1st Lady), Tom Ridge, Jack Kemp, John McCain, Oliver North(a hero), Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Wright(sp?), Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower--to name a few.
