>>>but the fact that NOBODY has found a smoking gun <<<

Me Droggies there are guns all over the place. There are no less than six major Bush appointments of ex-Enron employees......

You could argue than not one of these appointments were illegal, but the total number of Bush appointments from Enron Inc. strains the public perception of non involvement.

Where is Cheney hiding out???? Are he and Bin Laden both in the same bunker, for different reasons?

Why is Cheney so afraid to testify or explain his ties to Enron???

As one of the Senators said...."Cheney had plenty of time to talk to Enron officials....but he does not have time to talk the the Senators about this matter" (Sen. Hollingsworth, I believe)

I think that Cheney will be the fall guy for this. His ties to Enron become a liability in the next election.

I believe that Bush's best move would be to rid his administration of all his appointees that had ties to Enron. In front of congressional committees they will look bad and so will Bush.

Just my unbiased opinion....Jerome
