Hi Frank,

As IP doesn't know space, the handoffs present an NP-complete computational problem.

AstroData had 300mi diameter spot beams which could spacially overlap but not in frequency, and I suppose the same is true for TD. So a frequency plan for New York City or Hong Kong would reveal much.

Uplink data rates are limited by CPE antenna size/gain, just (moving) like VSATs.
