LOL! I have a Mardi Gras story: Rode 13 hours in the back end of a flat-bed -- or panel -- I suppose it would be called, commercial-grade truck with 20 hippies to Mardi Gras freshman college year ... parked the thing @ Tulane U where, back then, they'd open the stadium to campers, etc. Cut a week's worth of classes and upon returning, I tried (unsuccessfully) to convince my French professor that he should credit me for a 'field trip' that greatly enhanced my education in the French language. The whole thing 'earned' me a full grade 'demerit' for the entire semester. He made sure I knew that, too. LOL. Got a 'C.' bia
