DJ Medi-Hut Co./Stk Price -2: Shrs Fell 31% Tuesday >MHUT Page 1/1

LAKEWOOD, N.J. (Dow Jones)--Medi-Hut Co. (MHUT) said it will respond to an
unfavorable New York Post article about the company "in a timely manner."
In a press release Tuesday, the company said it is "saddened"(yeah? why were
insiders selling like scalded banshees LAST WEEK?)
by the recent
decline in its stock price.
Medi-Hut said it expects "increased revenue and better profitability over
this fiscal year" and said the company's business is "uninterrupted and
growing rapidly."
Shares of Medi-Hut, a maker of private-label insulin syringes, condoms and
other health-care products, fell $1.02, or 31%, to $2.27 after Monday's 51%
plunge. The stock came under pressure after a Post columnist raised questions
about the company's accounting practices. The company said the article
"contains many inaccuracies and innuendos."
On Friday, the company said first quarter sales would meet or exceed prior
guidance of $10 million to $12 million, and projected it would meet its $60
million revenue target for the year ending Oct. 31.
