I concluded it was a waste of time to analyze 3 letter stocks and stocks over $25 to $30 as candidates for shorting. It's the smaller companines that fail most often. Having said that it would have been GREAT to have shorted ZITL the day it hit $72. <G>

From the fundamental side, it's probably risky to short any company with 2 BILLION dollars worth of sales.. but on the practical side, knowing that INTEL has a scheduled price reduction targted at putting the price of the 200mhz chip around $200 by November... I would think that AMD will feel shock waves in the sales department.
