That argument, with a little sanding and polishing, is what the Republicans are required to make. They failed in that obligation when led by Dole and Lott. But the new team in charge seems to be more capable. We will see.

I have maintained that the new American left-which has been increasing its control over the Democratic party since 1970-is anything but a "loyal opposition", and cannot, by any means, be considered pro-American in any respect. They cannot be "worked with", "compromised with", or "reached out to", they must, in the long run, be defeated for our nation and its ideals to survive. They are corrupt, racist and tyrannical. If allowed to fester and share power, they will bring the nation to its knees and America will fade into history. They have maintained power by taking advantage of America's growing ignorance and illiteracy-which they have promoted, as well as insuring that a significant % of votes cast are by the dangerously misinformed. The trend, since the impeachment fix and their flagrant 2000 election fraud, has been running against them. It is the obligation of the Bush political team to preserve and extend that trend. Their success, so far, has been adequate. If they continue along the path they have followed, it will lead further down the road to eventual victory-and we can finally move on to the next political era...
