Thanks- they did seem sincere when I talked to them. I decided this was just a battlefield mishap that we will experience from time to time (like when I typed in ENR for my short on Enron back a month ago and found I was short the bunny instead of enron!! By the time I caught my error, Enron was at 12 and so I decided it wasn't worth shorting from there!!!) I noted you posted on rvdp- Fidelity called me this AM and said the loaner of my rvdp short was calling them in. Probably a hard short to find right now and no puts.... the beat goes on.
