Interesting angle for micropayments. I wonder if INSP can build this capability into their platform?

VODAFONE SET TO LAUNCH MOBILE PAYMENT SYSTEM
Vodafone is rolling out what it's calling an "m-pay bill" system that will
enable wireless subscribers to use their mobile phones to make payments of
up to £5. The wireless carrier has already inked deals with 50 content
providers, including ISPs and broadcasters, to use the system. The m-pay
bill system is based on reverse billing -- users respond to a telephone
number advertised on a Web site by sending a text message from their cell
phones. A message is then sent back, confirming the agreement and including
a PIN number that acts as a password to the site. Customers then proceed
with the transaction, and the charge shows up on their monthly Vodafone
bill. "The important thing is that they are turning the SMS model on its
head by charging for receiving, not sending," says a Gartner Dataquest
analyst. The system offers practical "micropayment" option when the
transaction fee is too small for a credit card. (Financial Times 6 Feb 2002)
