It is common after a breakout for a stock to pull back to the point of the breakout before moving up in earnest. This is a pattern that I will be looking for in making purchases. One of the many advantages of the explorers is that they move more independently of one another (compared to how the producers tend to move together) which allows you to sell one at the top of its cycle and then buy another at the bottom of its cycle. I noticed just now that FGX has pulled back to its recent breakout point while MNP continues climbing. If I didn't already have a big load of FGX I would be buying FGX today and not MNP. The opposite was true the previous few days.

Just thinking out loud,
