Siemens Announces Contract Between Efficient Networks and Bell
Canada; Efficient Networks Earns Approved Vendor Status
DALLAS, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Efficient Networks Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens Corp., today announced the signing of an agreement with Bell Canada -- Canada's leader in the Internet world -- that designates Efficient as an approved vendor. Bell Canada has one of the largest DSL 'footprints' among telcos in North America. Under terms of the contract, Efficient Networks will provide the SpeedStream(R) Ethernet DSL modem for Bell Canada's residential Sympatico High Speed Edition Internet service. This modem is powerful, versatile and supports simple plug-and-play installation.
