Siebel is a bunch of rip off scumbags.
Not time to write much, but can write more later. Quick story, we bought a Siebel partnership, sent some guys to training (Note: very very very expensive and difficult). To make a long story short, it turns out to be a one way street. Siebel won't lift a finger to help their smaller firm partners, in fact they may even have helped boot us out so that their Big 6 clients (who they are deep deep in bed with) can soak all the business (can't confirm this but that is our suspicion). Their certification is a joke, they emphasize it so much, then their Big 6 partners can slide on it cause they have consultants on project without it. Then they have their big gala kickoff in Vegas, do the smaller partners get invited? Hell no, it's all their Arthur Anderson, et al buddies. These guys are all about soaking the clients and partners (I use the term "partner" very very loosely, we're more like a revenue center) for all the cash they can get. They want to get in on our clients but there is no intro at all to any of theirs, no quid pro quo. With Siebel it's all a one way street if your name isn't KPMG, Arthur Anderson, Ernst & Young, etc.
Then they have the brass ones to want to reup the partnership deal at a HIGHER PRICE! I hope customers and partners alike get wise to their game and start throwing these clowns out. They are not the only game on the CRM block, and hopefully some of the competitors will eat their lunch on price and service.
Message to Siebel: What goes around comes around and maybe your karma will get back to you. F me once shame on you F me twice shame on me. |
