John; Iv never bought puts on the indexes, can you give me a few of the symbols ? After today I think I might join you. I used the rally today to come out of most long positions. Left a little in the OAKSX as it went closed to new investors..if I exit all the way..no way to get back in later..but I can and did draw it down. The market is betting Geenspam wont up interest rates in Aug the pundits really do bleive all that is tied to inflation an the CID and thoes sort of things..when it's really tied to selling enough Gov, securities to run the Gov..and thoes secuities compeat with the privet sector bonds that often pay higher rates. Most of it goes over my head, but I'm not dum enough to buy into all the smoke.. Jim
