InVision Tech to receive $100M order: SF Chronicle (INVN) 43.52: The SF Chronicle reports that the Deputy Transportation Secretary told a Senate panel yesterday that the Dept of Transportation plans to order 200 bomb detecting machines, including 100 from Invision and 100 from L-3 Communications (LLL 100.51), with the INVN order having a value of roughly $100 mln; article says that order has not been finalized, and that it will cover only a fraction of the estimated 2,000 machines needed.
As I have stated before, the LLL machines have no where near the usability of the INVN machines..
But that is politics..
As for III, they won't step on China's toes. Canada, sure, China, no way-Jose...
DC luvs China, I guess they (DC) think we will get access to their markets. Yeah, sure..
