Let's see. By Ireland, I presume you mean Northern Ireland? The stolen provinces the d**n Brits refuse to give back to the Republic of Ireland? Yeah, that's bizarre.

Let's see. Scotland is getting bizarre. Instead of apparently being just another part of Great BRitain, it now has it's own parliament. Sort of like the Republic of Texas being revived and having some autonomy and still being a state.

Wales. That looks a lot like it's Britain. Except some people there apparently would rather not be. They want to go back to some fairyland alternate history where they were free, independent and happy.

But so what? There are nuts in this country promoting the "sovereign citizen" concept that would allow them to live in the US but not pay taxes or be subject to its laws. Fat chance.

The point was irrelevant to Bush, or any pres as far as I was concerned. Texas is particularly convenient since they don't have a personal income tax...so these tax sucking pigs [along with the other States that are tax sucking pigs] are using our tax dollars.
Running your state government in an economical manner such that you don't have to victimize your residents is a problem. Listen, fella. I live in the People's Republic of California. I'd like to have such problems. (And BTW it was Ronny Reagan who did the best job of scewing Californians.)
